Butter Core is the neutral you didn’t know you were missing, sitting perfectly between soft beige and creamy butter for a look that feels understated, elevated and a little less expected than another white sock. Made from 85% cotton, 8% spandex and 7% polyester, it has a thick, soft feel with comfortable stretch, a supportive fit and signature grip detailing for added traction through reformer, mat Pilates and barre. Designed for the person who loves a neutral and notices the little details. One size fits most, with flexible stretch designed to accommodate approximately AU Women’s 5 through to AU Men’s 13.

Care

  • Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, with like colours.
  • Air dry naturally. Do not tumble dry.
  • Do not bleach, dry clean or expose to high heat.
  • Do not iron over the grips, print or embroidery.

The grip

Star grips run across the sole, so traction holds on the reformer carriage, the mat and a polished studio floor. Ribbed arch and ankle keep the sock in place, so the grip can do its job.

Fit & sizing

One size fits most. Flexible stretch fits approximately AU women's 5 through to AU men's 13, and it's fit-tested on an AU men's 13.

Product Care and Important Information

Core by Chloe Pilates grip socks are designed with quality, comfort and longevity in mind. Proper care is essential to maintaining the fabric, shape, embroidery and grip performance of your socks.

Care Instructions

Cold gentle machine wash or hand wash in cold water with like colours. For best results, place socks inside a wash bag to help protect the fabric, embroidery and grip detailing from friction against other garments. Air dry naturally in the shade. Do not tumble dry. Do not bleach. Do not dry clean. Do not iron. Do not expose to heaters, radiators or other direct sources of heat. Avoid hot water and high temperature washing or drying. Heat can affect the grip material, fabric, elasticity, embroidery and overall appearance of the product. Repeated rubbing against rough fabrics, hook and loop fasteners, zippers or abrasive surfaces may cause premature pilling, pulling or damage. We recommend washing your grip socks separately from abrasive garments wherever possible.

Grip and Safe Use

Core by Chloe Pilates grip socks are designed to assist with traction and stability during Pilates, reformer Pilates, barre and similar movement activities. Grip socks do not eliminate the risk of slipping, falling or injury. Grip performance can vary depending on the surface, equipment, movement being performed, condition of the sock and condition of the grip. Always use Pilates and exercise equipment appropriately and follow the directions of your instructor, studio or equipment manufacturer. Inspect your socks before each use. Do not continue using the product for exercise if the grip has become excessively worn, damaged, loose or compromised. The wearer remains responsible for selecting appropriate movements, equipment and surfaces for their individual ability and circumstances.

Fit and Sizing

Our grip socks are designed with a highly flexible stretch construction to accommodate a broad range of foot sizes. One size fits most, with the current design tested to fit sizes up to AU Men’s Size 13. Individual fit will naturally vary depending on foot length, width, shape and personal preference. A different feel or level of stretch between customers does not necessarily indicate a product fault. Please review all sizing and product information before purchasing.

Colour and Appearance

We make every effort to represent our products as accurately as possible. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings, device display, lighting conditions and photography. Minor variations may also occur between production runs due to materials, dyeing, embroidery and manufacturing processes. Small variations in colour, stitching, embroidery placement, grip placement and finishing that are consistent with normal manufacturing tolerances may occur and are part of the individual nature of the product.

Wear and Longevity

Our socks are manufactured with quality and longevity in mind and are designed for repeated Pilates and everyday wear when cared for correctly. Like all performance textiles, fabric, elasticity and grip will naturally experience wear over time. The lifespan of your socks will depend on factors including frequency of use, washing method, drying method, movement, footwear, flooring and the surfaces on which they are worn. Damage caused by misuse, excessive heat, incorrect washing, tumble drying, abrasive surfaces or failure to follow the recommended care instructions may reduce the lifespan and appearance of the product.
